Jennifer Thompson

Jennifer A. Thompson is licensed to practice law in the State of Nebraska, and the U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska. Her areas of practice include Mediation, Family and Juvenile Law, Real Estate Law, Estate Planning, Misdemeanor Criminal Defense, and Civil Litigation.

Jennifer A. Thompson graduated from Creighton University School of Law with a concentration in Litigation and Dispute Resolution. While at the law school, Ms. Thompson was a Mentor, President of the Moot Court Board, and a member of the Moot Court traveling competitive team.

She obtained her certificate of completion in Mediation Training and Family Mediation Training through the Nebraska Office of Dispute Resolution. She is also a Court- approved Guardian Ad Litem.

Ms. Thompson’s previous work includes successful outcomes in County and District Court in the state of Nebraska, United States District Court, and United States Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

She is a member of the Sarpy County Bar Association, Omaha Bar Association, Nebraska State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Nebraska Mediator’s Association, and Nebraska Criminal Defense Attorneys Association. For the past five years, she has been a member of the Inns of Court, Robert M. Spire Inn. She is also a graduate of the Nebraska State Bar Association Leadership Academy Class of 2009-2010.

Ms. Thompson is an active volunteer in the legal community where she spends time judging intra- and inter-school competitions for high school, college, and the Creighton University School of Law, including Moot Court, Mock Trial, Client Counseling, and Client Negotiating. She has educated local area school children by participating in Law Day activities. She also is an active member of Altrusa International.
